January Project assists clients in helping them achieve a positive change towards processing their past, improved self-awareness, and increased ability to engage in strengths-based work. In doing so, clients are encouraged to focus on their ability to effectively cope with and manage emotions, process new experiences, and identify personal strengths. It is of the upmost importance to establish rapport and foster a safe environment for clients that encourages creative and verbal expression. Treatment plans are developed based on the client’s areas of need.
Our philosophy is to increase self-awareness to promote healing for facilitating stress reduction, improved quality of life, and to gain long-lasting well-being. Any or all may struggle with issues such as: managing behaviors, coping with trauma, improving self-confidence, academic difficulties, and interpersonal relationships.
